Before you install an older version
- Note the version you use now and back up your profiles, either with the export option in Sovol OrcaSlicer or by copying its configuration folder.
- Choose the version below and open it. Prefer a stable release unless you need a fix that only a pre-release has.
- Download the file for your system from the official release. A portable ZIP or AppImage can run next to your current installation.
- Projects saved by a newer version may not open in an older one, so keep a copy of your 3MF files before you switch.
Read the release scope before installing. Version 2.3.0.4 is explicitly for SV08 and SV08 MAX and ships a Windows installer plus a separate profile archive. A profile ZIP supplies settings; it is not the slicer installer.
