Before you install an older version
- Note the version you use now and back up your profiles, either with the export option in QIDI Slicer or by copying its configuration folder.
- Choose the version below and open it. Prefer a stable release unless you need a fix that only a pre-release has.
- Download the file for your system from the official release. A portable ZIP or AppImage can run next to your current installation.
- Projects saved by a newer version may not open in an older one, so keep a copy of your 3MF files before you switch.
Read the notes attached to the exact QIDI Slicer release before replacing an older build. Recent Linux packages are split by WebKit generation, while newer macOS releases use a universal package; preserve a configuration snapshot before updating presets or the application.
