Before you install an older version

  1. Note the version you use now and back up your profiles, either with the export option in ELEGOO Slicer or by copying its configuration folder.
  2. Choose the version below and open it. Prefer a stable release unless you need a fix that only a pre-release has.
  3. Download the file for your system from the official release. A portable ZIP or AppImage can run next to your current installation.
  4. Projects saved by a newer version may not open in an older one, so keep a copy of your 3MF files before you switch.

Windows users can choose an installer or portable archive; macOS has separate Apple Silicon and Intel DMGs, and Linux uses an AppImage. ELEGOO labels Linux support as early-stage in its release notes, so keep exported custom presets before changing versions.
