Changelog

🚀 New Features

Fuzzy Skin Painting

  • Added freeform painting of fuzzy skin regions for localized texture control
  • Supports three generation modes: Displacement, Extrusion, and Combined
  • Multiple noise types available: Perlin, Billow, and more
  • Evolves Fuzzy Skin from a simple roughness effect into a controllable surface design system

Support Interface Ironing

  • Extended ironing feature to support contact surfaces
  • Performs high-speed, low-flow pass (default 10%) after support printing
  • Fills surface gaps and flattens irregularities for a smoother temporary printing base
  • Improves bottom surface quality, overhang stability, and fine detail sharpness

Support Interface Ironing 1 Support Interface Ironing 2

Brim Ears

  • Supports freeform drawing of localized adhesion structures ("ear-shaped brim") at model edges
  • Improves adhesion only where needed, reducing filament waste and post-processing

Embedding Wall into Infill

  • Generates periodic interlocking "tooth-like" structures between walls and infill
  • Staggered across layers to improve interlayer bonding and structural strength
  • Ideal for models where infill is exposed or heavily contacts outer walls

MakeNow Integration

  • Fully integrated MakeNow into Creality Print
  • Complete all operations within the slicer without switching to browser

MakeNow Integration 2

🎨 UI Enhancements

G-code Preview

  • Added filament usage display (length/weight) for each path type
  • Enables better cost estimation and parameter tuning

G-code Preview

⚡ Performance Improvements

  • Optimized memory usage during post-slicing rendering
  • Average memory reduction: ~10%
  • Improved stability and responsiveness for complex and full-build-plate scenarios
  • Consistent performance across desktop and laptop platforms

🔧 Optimizations

Color Change Sequence

  • Optimized color change sequencing for first few layers in multi-color printing
  • Adjacent colors prioritized for continuous printing, reducing purge complexity
  • Purge volume reduced by ~10% with no negative impact on final print quality

Layer Artifact Optimization – Under-extrusion After Overhangs

  • Addressed common issue of visible under-extrusion lines appearing after overhang sections
  • Caused by rapid transitions from overhang slowdown to normal speed, where melt pressure and extrusion flow cannot respond instantly
  • Optimized algorithm across seven key parameters:
  • Pressure Advance (PA)
  • Flow smoothing
  • Deceleration speed
  • Overhang speed
  • Melt chamber temperature
  • Under-extrusion timing
  • Acceleration
  • Validated on multiple printers (K2 Plus, K2 Pro, K1, i7) under identical slicing conditions
  • New experimental option available at: Process Settings → Speed → Advanced → "Improve Under-extrusion After Overhangs (Experimental)"
  • Default parameters are recommended
